St. Luke's offers a variety of opportunities for lifelong Christian education for adults: Bible study groups, Adult Forums, Inquirers’ Classes, book study groups, and special programs particular to the seasons of the Church year. Our programs are informative and fun, so please join us!
Adult Forum
One piece of our Spiritual Formation program is the Adult Forum, which meets in the Dining Room following the 9:30am service, offering a variety of topics and speakers that enhance our life together.
Bible Study
The mission of St. Luke's Sunday Night Bible Study is to provide an opportunity for individual spiritual growth through Christian fellowship and the study of Scripture.
St. Luke's Sunday Night Bible Study will be reading & discussing lessons from the Old Testament book of Proverbs. We meet from 5:00-7:30pm in the Library with potluck supper and devotions at 5:00pm and Bible Study from 6:00-7:30pm. All adults are welcome. Our 2010-2011 program year has concluded. Later this summer we will posting information on our upcoming 2011-2012 adult formation offerings.
St. Luke's Library
St. Luke's library offers a wide array of spiritual books for all ages. The library is open for use on Sundays and during office hours Monday through Friday. Books are catalogued numerically using the Dewey Decimal System as in all public libraries. A subject notebook is available to help you locate materials as well as a card index system. We welcome borrowers, browsers and visitors to enjoy the books in our library.
Captivating Moms
On April 18th, 2012 a mom's group will be starting at St. Luke's. This group is available to all new moms, moms-to-be, experienced moms, and mothers whose children are all grown up. Come share a time of dinner and fellowship as we share in the spiritual journey of being a mother. Captivating Moms meets on Wednesdays from 5:30-7pm. Dinner and childcare are provided.
